History of Car Show

Margie & Jim Dietterich were bitten by the, "Microcar Bug" about 15years ago when Margie was cruising the internet for a car and stumbled upon a BMW Isetta. Within the next year the bug had spread to Jim and there were four more Isettas in the garage. Anyone else who has been bitten by the bug knows the rest of the story, weekend trips to Florida and to Georgia and Massachusetts just sealed our fate. Along the way we have met many wonderful folks who share the same hobby.

By 2010 our Embroidery business had begun to restrict our ability to travel so much that we decided to try a meet here in one of the most beautiful and historic seashore venues on the East coast... Cape May.  We had decided to do it every other year to coincide with other meets but so far we have had so much fun and have met so many interesting people that the meets have been every year.

Our meets are based on short road trips, lot's of great eateries, great sunsets and lots of, "Fellowshiping" in the parking lots with our Micros in the evening. We visit history, the beach and for the last several years we have been invited to be on the world famous Wildwood Boardwalk during the East Coast Boardwalk National Car Show.
